About the Journal:
International Review of Social Sciences and Humanities (IRSSH) is an open access, peer-reviewed and refereed international journal. The journal aims to maintain a rapid editorial procedure and a rigorous peer-review system. Submitted manuscripts must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere or have already been published.
The journal publishes research papers in the fields of Humanities and Social Science such as Anthropology, Economics, Business Studies, Communication Studies, Corporate Governance, Public Administration, Sociology, Social Welfare, Crosscultural Studies, Demography, Development Studies, Education, Ethics, Geography, History, Industrial Relations, Information Science, International Relations, Law, Library Science, Media Studies, Methodology, Philosophy, Political Science, Population Studies, Psychology, Linguistics, Literature, Performing Arts (music, theatre & dance), Religious Studies, Visual Arts, Women Studies and so on.
Frequency of Publication: Four issues in a year. These issues will appear in the months of January, April, July and October respectively in every year. One Volume comprises of two issues.
The following types of article will be considered:
1. Research Articles: Original research in various fields of Social Sciences and Humanities will be evaluated as research articles.
2. Research Notes: These include articles such as preliminary notes on a study, manuscripts.
3. Reviews: Reviews of recent developments, improvements, discoveries and ideas in various fields of Social Sciences and Humanities will be considered.
4. Letters to the Editor: These include opinions, comments relating to the publishing policy of the International Review of Science and Technology, news and suggestions. Letters are not to exceed a single page.
The editor reserves the right to decide that a paper may be treated as a Research Note.
Important Instructions:
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
Submission of an article implies that the work described has not been published previously (except in the form of an abstract or as part of a published lecture, review, or thesis) and are not currently under consideration by another journal. The submitting author is responsible for ensuring that the article's publication has been approved by all the other coauthors. It is also the authors' responsibility to ensure that the articles emanating from a particular institution are submitted with the approval of the necessary institution, and that, if accepted, will not be published elsewhere in the same form, in English or in any other language, without the written consent of the Publisher. The Editors reserve the right to edit or otherwise alter all contributions, but authors will receive proofs for approval before publication.
Copyrights for articles published in this journal are retained by the authors, with first publication rights granted to the journal. The journal/publisher is not responsible for subsequent uses of the work. It is the author's responsibility to bring an infringement action if so desired by the author.
Impartiality Statement:
We are commited to maintaining a high academic standard of the journal. The journal is non-political (i.e., only scholarly) and absolutely unbiased to any political party or ideology (religious, national, ideological), and completely research-based. Thus we commit to maintain a high ethical standard and be absolutely impartial to anyone.
Proofs:
Proofs will be sent to the corresponding author and should be returned with one week of receipt. Corrections should be restricted to typesetting errors; any other corrections may be charged to the authors. Authors are advised to check their proofs very carefully before return, since the inclusion of late corrections cannot be acceptable.
Publication Cost and Authors Benefit:
Authors of accepted papers are requested to arrange processing charges of their papers at the rate of US$ 20 per page (Rs. 600 per page for Indian Authors). In any case, minimum processing charge of an accepted article is US $ 200 (Rs. 8,000). Two free journal complete issues are provided to the corresponding author. Additional copies may be ordered at the time of proof correction.
